The 2020 Captains’ Charity Golf Day took place on 4 October 2020 at the Gog Magog Golf Course. On the day over 160 members teed off for 18 holes.
Despite torrential rain the day was a great success, with golfers competing for a range of prizes. We were delighted to donate a 911 for a weekend to the winner of the Nearest the Pin competition. On the day we displayed a Porsche 911 outside the club house.
So far, the event has raised over £25,000 for The Sick Children’s Trust and Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
“It was fantastic to be invited to support our local golf club for this Charity Day. I congratulate the Captains on raising such a fantastic amount for their charities. We look forward to supporting the event again in 2021,” said Ryan Smith, Centre Principal at Porsche Centre Cambridge.

For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
