On Wednesday 4 July, Porsche Centre Cambridge held their qualifying round of the Porsche Golf Cup Great Britain at the Saffron Walden Golf Club.
Before teeing off, guests were able to browse a display of items from Porsche Driver’s Selection and make use of the driving range and practice greens. All 40 guests played 18 holes in record-breaking temperatures which created some very fast greens. On returning to the clubhouse, guests enjoyed much needed drinks and a delicious buffet. Centre Principal, Dan Jones then hosted the prize-giving ceremony.
Guests were competing for a place at this year’s National Final at the award-winning Belfry Hotel and Resort. Surrounded by over 550 acres of stunning countryside, The Belfry is four-time host to the Ryder Cup and steeped in tournament history.
The day was a fantastic opportunity for Porsche owners to come together and enjoy a round of golf with like-minded people. We would like to thank Saffron Walden Golf Club for hosting the day and everyone who attended.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
